Unless you have been on a digital fast, you have heard the news about EPSO's troubles with automated remote proctoring, re-testing issues, testing being halted for the time being, and the postponement of the AD5 Generalist competition, among others.

There are still a lot of things happening despite this announcement, which has ruffled some feathers. There will be one last testing round for CAST candidates - this is a good opportunity to get in there now - because who knows when testing will start again? And there are still applications due and reserve lists waiting to be published.

Administrators in the field of TRANSPORT | EPSO/AD/410/23
Applications must be submitted latest by 7 November 2023 at 12:00 noon (Brussels time)- EPSO announced that the deadline to submit applications has been extended! The new date to submit applciations by:
- 5 December 2023 at 12:00 noon (Brussels time)
- The deadline to submit supporting documents is 12 December 2023 (this has remained the same on the EPSO website so far)

EPSO ECONOMISTS AD6
This is another one of the competitions surrounded by controversy, with many candidates sending complaints, not only to EPSO, but also to the unions and to the Ombudsman. These issues are partially what led to the temporary pause on EPSO testing. Those candidates who experienced severe technical issues and could not complete their exams will be able to retest, however.

This is one of the competitions that has experienced a lot of turmoil surrounding automated remotely proctored testing. EPSO received a deluge of complaints after the first round of testing. This has led to EPSO shutting down testing for an unknown period. But not before offering re-testing for those candidates who had issues with the system and therefore could not complete the tests.
