How is pass mark calculated for Reasoning tests?

I can't seem to find this specific information anywhere.

Yesterday, March 6 2025, I did two "batches" of tests.

Batch 1 - (a) language knowledge, (b) verbal reasoning, (c) numerical reasoning, (d) logical reasoning.

My question is: is the pass mark calculated for the entirety of Batch 1 (a, b, c, d) or do I have to pass each one individually?

Then Batch 2 was the long article followed by the 12 multiple choice questions, which I'm already sure is marked separately.

Thanks in advance.

Translation and revision tests

Hello

anyone have an idea as to the length, i.e. how many words, of the text for translation and for review?

Is it worth continuing it?

Hi everyone.

So, I have just finished my first round of tests for EPSO/AD/416/24 and I couldn't answer six questions for the numerical reasoning part. Now I'm a bit confused about whether it's worth doing the translation and the revision tests since the notice says that those will be scored only if I pass the exam for the numerical and abstract reasoning tests. Since I'm sure I didn't get a maximum score for the abstract part either, is it safe to say that I have failed the whole thing already?

Language of supporting documents

Hello

the supporting documents linked with the EPSO application should be in English or can they be in our native language (one of the EU-27)?

Issue with technical verification

Hey all,

I have been experiencing issues and have been unable to complete the technical verification on TestWe. I do all the sounds and camera testing and when I launch the test a blue screen shows and after that if I don't force quit my computer I cannot do anything, not even closing the TestWe app. I have wrote to the technical service and they haven't been able to provide a solution other than "use another laptop".

For context I am using a 2016 Macbook Pro (Os Monterrey 12.7.6) and I have more than the necessary RAM and memory on the HD.

Distribution of posts EPSO/AD/419/24

Good morning,

According to the competition page for EPSO/AD/419/24, there are 3763 applicants, for the selection of 1177 successful candidates

There are 8 languages sought (DA, EL, EN, ES, FR, IT, MT and NL). Is the distribution of the posts (i.e. the numbers or percentage of candidates allocated per each language) public or known?

Thank you

TestWe crashed PC, then wouldn't run on a different PC

Hello, I hope someone can help me with very serious technical issues I'm having with the TestWe app.

I'm working on a Dell PC with specs well above the minimum requirements indicated by TestWe. I disable AV & Firewall prior to running the app.

Computer for TestWe

Hello all,

I have downloaded TestWe on my laptop and launched it by connecting with my credentials.

After checking the interface, I think that my laptop's screen is too small and I'd prefer to sit the text on my PC.

Is it okay if I download the app and connect again from a second computer? I haven't run the prerequisite technical test yet, as I want to do it from the computer I will actually use on the day of the test.

Thank you in advance!

Numerical test feedback

After today's exam, I would like to address the issue of tools provided as part of the numerical test.

The method of using the place for taking notes (pdf scratchpad, etc.) is unclear, unintuitive, requires several clicks, and has to be repeated for each question. Given the amount of time given for each question, this is an additional, completely unnecessary complication.

Points deducted for wrong answer in reasoning tests?

Hello all!

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a deduction of points per wrong answer in any of the reasoning test (abstract, numerical or verbal) for the AD5 Translators competition? For example, say you chose the wrong answer in one question, they will deduct 0.25 from the points you score in the questions you answer correctly.

Thank you so much in advance!
