EPSO COMPETITIONS

Hi,

I am having problems with the prerequisite requirement of Testwe although I am using the same pc and software than in the previous exam. I have changed nothing and have not installed anything new. It seems that it does not authorize my pc.

Anyone having problems as well?

I have on the reserve list on an AD6 competition. I wonder if I should prepare for the upcoming AD5 Generalist competition.
Be on a reserve list doesn't guaranty recruitment, so it is better to be on severals. But if I am already in AD6 reserve list, the recruiting services for AD5 will know that I prefer to go in AD6 position, they may not recruit me.

I think it is worth to prepare all competitions, keep applying, because nothing is done at this point. And still, it sounds quite inefficient to prepare for an AD5 competition.

Does anyone know what are the current rules for working in the Commission? Is one has worked already for 6 years as CA and TA can they still work or they have to pass a competition?

The tests done on the 6th March will be invalid and we have to repeat ALL those tests (FIVE in total: L1, CBT and L3) on the 14th May:

Most of us followed the instructions and marked only one correct answer. If we marked two or more by mistake, we unmarked as necessary so that there would only be one left per question.

I have received the following message from EPSO:

It has come to EPSO’s attention that during the testing session of 6 March 2025, for the ongoing Translator competitions (EPSO/AD/414-421/24 – 8 languages), EPSO’s external contractor allowed a set-up defect in all the multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ) tests. This led to a high number of candidates submitting more than one answer, despite the explicit mention in the instructions that there was only one correct answer.

As the title says, did the numerical reasoning test last week as part of the Taxation competition.

Scratchpad is to forget, opening mine there was nowhere to write on it, they were only showing some indications how to copy/paste text, why???

Calculator does not allow to memorize any previous calculation.

Without the possibility of not having some pen and paper in the applicant desk, it is impossible to have 10 out of 10.

Any that manages it, relied on pure luck to answer the most complex questions.

Hi, I will sit the Lawyer lingusit competition currently open for the EP/CION/COUNCIL cycle. I wanted to check whether there will be a package available for this competition including EU law questions similar to what had been the case for the EU law competition that had come out some years ago?

I took the Scientific research administrators exam (AD7) in February and, to be honest, it would take a lot of luck for me to succeed in passing the reasoning tests (I answered randomly on at least half of the questions in the numerical test because I couldn't use the interface properly).

Being doing the different tests for the Direct taxation competition.

The time given for the Field related MCQ is way sufficient to complete the 30 questions, basically either one knows the answer or not.

I managed to complete it in less than 10 minutes (while time given is 40 minutes).

It would be preferable if time not spent could be used for another part of the tests (getting stuck quite often in the abstract and verbal questions).

Anyone else had the same experience?

Does anyone know how long it takes to have the results of EPSO/AD/413/24 tests? Thanks
