EPSO COMPETITIONS

Hi everyone,

I just received the Testwe email and in the instructions it says that the time allotted for each question in particular is not cumulable with the time for the next questions. As I recall, the pass points for the reasoning questions are 22 out of 40 altogether, so in this case does anyone know why the 10 verbal reasoning questions, for example, dont't get 18 minutes altogether? If I did not misunderstand of course...

To apply to a job opening as a scientific officer for ERC, I was asked to create an application for Permanent CAST profile (EPSO CAST) at FG IV level. The ERC's HR informed me that I will have to take a EPSO Permanent CAST Reasoning Tests in Function Group IV. Would the verbal reasoning test be in English or in the first language I added in the application for the Permanent CAST profile? Unfortunately, the first language I added was Romanian (my native language) but the Romanian texts in the tests are not very well written, and I would liketo take it in English.

Hello, I wonder if anyone has received yet the link for testwe. On the EPSO account says that we should received an email with info for the test but I haven't received any email yet. Has anyone received one. Or do you have an email to contact them? Thanks

Hi, has anybody found out more about what EPSO means when they say in the video tutorials ''Any formatting will be removed from the scripts that EPSO will send for markers for evaluation'?

It´s clear to me that colours and underlining will be removed, but how about italics and bold? Do they count as formatting? Will they be removed as well in the texts markers receive?

I have used TestWE in the Lawyer Linguist competition and I remember very well being able to use the bold and italics buttons, and they never mentioned this formatting would disappear.

I have a short piece of experience that I listed in my application, but that I am unable to prove as I had been a freelancer for a short period, the company I worked with got bankrupt and my old email address that I used during that time got deactivated by Yahoo (it was 12 years ago).

I sent them an email and they replied that as long as I add positions in the applications I should send documents for them, even if the description says it does not require experience...

Hi, I have noticed an increase on the difficulty of the abstract reasoning exercises in EUtraining website for the AD7 Scientific research administrators compared to the previous years for other AD EPSO competitions (I have have done many many EPSO exams and training a lot on EU training). Is it reflecting a real update of the difficulty for this new competitions? or it is just eutraining increasing the difficulty?

I have a question about the written test. The competition notice states:

"Candidates will respond to the test assignment(s) based on documentation related to the area of research. The documentation will be available on the EPSO website ahead of the test date. Candidates will receive the same documentation during the test, along with the assignment(s) based on it."

However, I do not see any such documentation on the EPSO website.

Any help would be appreciated.
