According to the EPSO website the number of validated applications submitted for the 2nd part of the application process this year for the AD5 competition was 22,666. Because of this large number of applicants you want to make sure to book on time for the next phase of the competition: Pre-Selection and Computer-Based Testing.
Booking for the EPSO AD5 Pre-Selection exam time-slot will open this week on the 29th of May. The booking period is only open for a limited time: 29 May - 12 June 2018. Make sure you book your preferred day and time as soon as possible because popular dates fill up very fast.
It is very important to book your exam session before 12 June 2018, otherwise EPSO will consider your application withdrawn and you will need to wait for the next AD5 competition to apply again.
Get a head start on your preparation by signing up for an Intensive EPSO AD5 Pre-Selection Classroom Training session in Brussels happening on Saturday, 2 June 2018!

Changes to note
Most of the MCQ tests will need to be completed in your chosen Language 1. However, the Situational Judgment Test will need to be completed in your chosen Language 2.
For the Verbal Reasoning Test and the Numerical Reasoning Test you will need to get at least a pass mark of 5 for each, but your Numerical and Verbal Reasoning Test marks will not count towards your overall Pre-Selection exam score!
Please note that the MCQ tests are eliminatory and do not count towards the other tests held at the Assessment Centre.
Naturally, you will need to do much better than a pass mark in the pre-selection exam stage if you wish to progress to the next stage of the competition. Only those with the highest total combined marks for the Abstract Reasoning Tests and Situational Judgement Test will make it to the E-tray Exercise round. That means start practicing today!
