Hi everyone, 

I was wondering whether you can take the computer based tests in another member state than your home country?

In my understanding you can take the tests in any test center regardless of your nationality, is this correct? I am will probably be in another member state during the testing period, that's why I am wondering.

I would like to prepare for the upcoming computer tests for the Frontex Projects and Activities Support Officers call.

Unfortunately, I couldnt find any questions for the language comprehension test and the SJT for AST (only AD).

Could you please help me out here?

Hello everyone, can somebody tell me what are the rules in SJT? For example... I got 83% for the SJT test, but than under the "analysis" I found I got 20/40. 83% is more/less 32 points.

I did an interview for a job in the European Parliament in Luxemburg some days ago. It is the second chance I have since I passed the CAST two years ago. They told me that they will be conducting interviews for the next 10 days and, after that, they will start to call to the candidates that have been selected. The ten days just passed. 

My question is: Is it OK to contact by email the head of unit telling him that I am still very interested in the contract, or should I wait patiently?

Hi, I have a question reagrding AD vs FG groups. I understand that they are different streams but to me it looks like for example for my position that AD would have much higher salary. The jobs posted in AD stream for someone like me are areound AD 7 and 8 while in FG I can get maximum FG IV.

The question is if I get the oportunity to work for in FG IV, should I accept it since I am not going to get salary that would be higher then I am having now, or should I wait for AD 7 & 8 positions?

I just passed the selection tests for EPSO/CAST/P/19/2018 (Child care staff) and I've been told that I will be contacted directly by the recruiting services for the next phase of the selection procedure. I would thus like to ask whether anyone is familiar with the type of tests I will be called to take for the next phase (interview, case study etc.) and whether there is any book I could consult in order to help me prepare?

Hi everyone!  I want to prepare for the upcoming Croatian Lawyer Linguist competition. Are there any Lawyer Linguists out there who might have some tips on what to expect from translations, or have some past papers, other practical tips, etc.? Also, from your experience, does the full package book (600 questions and translations) + classroom training that "EU Training" offer, usually sufficient for a successful candidate competing for a linguist lawyer? How long it takes on average to prepare?

Hi everybody, 

I have a question concerning FGIII selection criteria.

I’ve read in a FGIII vacancy notice that “Proven experience of at least 3 years in the field of finance, budget and procurement” is required as essential criteria of selection.

My question is: is this referred only to professional experience or it includes academic experience too?

If I have a Master’s degree in accounting and finance, could it be considered as experience?

Hi! Regarding the interview for CAST-PM, does anyone know whether it includes general knowledge questions, on the EU institutions, history of the EU etc? Do they also ask anything on programme management? Or is it a typical interview on your CV, skills and motivation alone? Thank you.
