EPSO COMPETITIONS

Hello,

I started preparing for the exams for the Project Management FGVI. I have a clear view of the reasoning skill sets ( verbal, numerical and abstract). But not very clear about the competency test and the language ones. Where can I find material to practice this?

Hello everyone,

as I practice the tests on this website, I use to enlarge the text to 120% or 133%, as a commodity to read easier. I have to point out that this is ust a commodity and not a medical requirement. I can read well,  without glasses, but reading on screen is more confortable for me if the text is larger, just as in common browsers' reading mode.

Dear all,

I have heard that there is a possibility to be hired directly at step 2 in AD5 grade based on the person's experience.

Does anybody have any knowledge how does it work? How much experience is required? Usually in all EPSO competition they mention that the experience should be relevant, however, for AD5 generalist there is no "relevant" experience.

have you ever try before?

I have seen the last one in 2015 there were almost 7200 applicants... and just for 30 ast/sc1!

This time there are 20 for sc1 and 27 for sc2

I am not sure my experience is good enough for sc2 but there is no risk to try... what do you think about?

I’m wondering whether previous health issues might affect the possibility of working for EU institutions. I once suffered from depression for which I needed therapy. Today, I consider myself as cured but I‘m not sure whether that matters. I don’t want to keep that information from the doctor examining me but I’m quite worried that it could prevent me from starting an EU career.

I would be grateful for every insight or own experience on that matter.

Anyone interested in a Facebook study group for Group Exercise? I don't know if the procedure we are in does matter as in my understanding those invited in the same day are not direct competitors so they will be from different procedures anyway.

Hello,

as far as I have seen in the tests provided by the site, all questions in verbal reasoning ask for a true statement to be found in the text. Can anybody confirm or deny that in the real test the questions always regards a true statement? In other words, is there any chance that a question asks to choose which is the false statement among the options provided?

Dear collegues,

As we all know this year, for AD5 Audit, will be a Talent Screening process. I undestood that the answers that we gave in this section will be weighted by some factors and multipliers (1-3 per question and 0-4 for the answer). Regarding the answer worth, it's kind of clear, although it's kind of a subjective matter, but when it comes to the importance of the question, does anybody know which is the weight of every question in the Talent Screener section? There is a legal regulation somewhere?
