Renewing contract for Contract agent conditions?

Hey all. Does anyone know if for example you have 14 years of experience now and your contract is for 4 years, if they decide to renew it is it on the old Grade 14 or are they going to renew it with Grade 16 since now you have more then 17 years of experience?

I have been selected to participate in the upcoming CAST tests in Communication field. These tests include specific questions on Communication Competency. Anyone has participated in this process? Hello!

I was wondering if anyone here has been selected for an interim position (6-12) at an EU body? I was curious to find out whether they decided to extend your contract after 6-12 months and also what type of checks have they done once you obtained the position (reference checks, academic checks etc)? I am a bit hesitant to ask my current employer for a reference and I would very much prefer to rech out to any of my past employers for a reference. Have you encountered this situation?
