What happens when not enough participants get the minimum marks to pass the tests? (verbal / reasoning - specially this one / numerical)

I'm planning to do the AD5 European Law Competetion and there will be a field-related multiple choice test in the second step.

Can you recommend a book to read in order to prepare for the questions?

Hi! I have 2 questions:

1. How are you supposed to know that you have been preselected before the opening window to register: the time between registration and the actual exam is very short for preparation.

2. How do you know which unit / recruiter that is interested in your application?

I have heard, that one of the benefits of working for an institution of the EU is that your childrens (very expensive!) school fees at one of the international schools in Brussels will be paid for.  Not having this benefit would be a prohibitive factor for me moving to Brussels at all and attempting my luck in the CAST calls or applying for positions as a temporary agent, so I hope one of you can help me figuring this out:  Does this benefit regarding paid school fees for employee's children only apply to temporary agents or also to contract agents and temporary agents?

I have a question concerning the computer based tests of the AD5 EU law exam. 
Will they use the same kind of questions for the verbal, numerical and abstract part, as for the AD5 Administrators exam?

I am asking this in order to find out whether I should buy the special EU law package (pre-selection) provided by EU training?
I already bought the package for AD5 Administrators..

As you are probably aware, no one is required to indicate professional experience in their application for this AD profile.

Nevertheless, it seems to me as the approprate thing to do, given that if I pass successfully, people will wan to know more about me and will seek CV-type information.

I can suppy employment contracts, but I have no pay-slips or detailed description of my duties.

I am wondering if you can say something to this question:  if I should be so lucky to be successful in the secretaries' competition and receive an assignement, is it still possible to also apply to other competitions, like for the administrators, once they are published?  How about CAST assignments in different roles?  How is the general permeability of the internal job search once one is inside?

Dear EPSO,

If I have recently taken a Secretary CAST exam, are the reasoning parts not relevant for the AST/SC Exam taking place this fall? I mean, could I just take the Accuracy and the Organising & Prioritising part ?
