The wait is almost over for those keen to participate in the 2020 EPSO Secretaries competition...

It has been quite a while since an opportunity has come up to take part in a selection process for such a profile - the last competition of this nature took place in 2017.

That's why ON THURSDAY, EU Training will hold a FREE LIVE Information Webcast to discuss all the key components of this competition and how best to prepare for each stage. The recording of this session is now available to view here for FREE.

Presented by András Baneth, Europe's #1 expert on EU careers, a former EU official and author of The Ultimate EU Test Book 2005-2020, find out first-hand what to expect from this selection process.

This 60-minute webcast will start at 12:30pm (Brussels time) on Thursday, 25 June.

3. USE THIS SUMMER TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

Applications will close on 8 September.

The next step after that will be an exam round at the start of the competition.

This is a preliminary testing round used to eliminate a number of candidates right at the beginning - so it's a good idea to utilise this time over the summer to enhance your skills in the relevant areas.

Regular and consistent practice over an extended period of time is the key to improving your proficiency in these tests.

It takes time to become familiar with the different types of questions that can be posed per test type, and more importantly, to become fast at completing them.
