I did the CBT tests this morning for the AST-SC competition. It was my first time doing them.

How do they score the tests? Is a correct answer in the verbal reasoning test worth the same as a correct answer in the abstract reasoning test, for example? Do they just add all the questions and our score is determined by the percentage of correct answers, independent from the type of test?

J'ai eu des problèmes pour acceder au webinaire d'hier et aucune réponse. Pour le webinaire d'aujourd'hui, je continue avec la même situation, et j'ai pensé que peut être il y a d'autres personnes dans la même situation.

J'ai bien reçu le mail avec le link pour me connecter, en 2 steps. J'arrive a voir le logo et à écouter la Musique, donc passe au step 2.

Mais ici j'obtiens toujours le suivant message:

Does anyone have second hand books for the first tests?

Can anyone tell me if the questions for the verbal, numeric, and abstract are different from the 2014 book? I don't have the 2014 at hand to compare, but some of the questions look rather similar.

I am struggling with situational judgement more than what I expected. In some forums some people claim being able to answer SJ questions 100% correctly. I do not see myself getting any closer to that with just continuing doing tests. Is there any methodology? In case there is anybody out there with a lot of experience that has successfully mastered SJ questions, please would you mind to share your knowledge through this forum? Many thanks in advanced!!

Most suitable will obviously be previous experience in the EP. In my opinion, and I don't want to be a bad prophet, this competition, under the guise of being "open", has actually been designed to allow for the TAs at the Parliament (MEP assistants and assistants in the political groups) to become officials.

I think the only people who have any chance of passing the talent screener for this competition are the current MEP assistants.

The results are out! I am a happy laureate! I am curious to know how you went. I scored very low in the Case Study but luckily performed very well in the assessment center.
