EPSO COMPETITIONS

Hi everyone :)

Just wanted to bring up the topic that there are no news on the AD5 Generalist Competition. I emailed the European Direct Contact Centre, and they told me nothing, that if any news they will upload it in the EPSO website.

What's your opinion on this? Do you think they will cancel them or delay them? Or am I just being paranoid? haha

Has anyone experience of using the on-screen scratchpad during a remotely proctored CBT? Is it convenient, in combination with the on-screen calculator, especially for the numerical reasoning?

Are there people here who have succeeded in the Single Resolution Board selections? I'm mostly asking about the Bank Resolution expert reserve list (but advice from candidates in other lists is  also welcome). 

I have a few questions and I would be grateful for your input:

1. How long after your inclusion in the reserve list were you contacted? 

2. Were you contacted by the HoU directly or by the HR service? Would it be a good idea to contact HoUs directly?

Good afternoon. I've just been invited for the next step of the selection procedure for a AD5 position in project management. The next step includes an interview and a written test. I have to mention that the selection process didn't include any tests via EPSO. I would like to ask you if you have any material or training that can be of help in my preparation for this next stage. Does anyone know whether the EPSO Selection Board communicates with current employers to cross-reference if the application details are solid? On one hand I would understand a need for this, but on the other hand I 'm not sure if I want my current employer to know my intentions for the future...

I 've read in a webcast that it takes 6 years to be promoted from AD5 to AD7. In the Staff Regulations, though, it's written that we need two years for a step advancement (Ar. 44). This is a lot, considering that we would need 10 years to change grade. Could someone please enlighten me what' going on with promotions?

I took the exam on EU institutions and policies. Do you know when the results will be out? 

Is there something in preparation from EU Training for the second exam of this internal competition (written tests)?

I am thoroughly fed up with the delayed competition status and wonder if Epso is going to be held accountable for this. The COVID-19 situation cannot be used anymore as an explanation for the currrent delays- some competitions are still ongoing since 2019! this is highly frustrating. how can a public body get away with this????

Hi, EPSO just published multiple permanent IT positions under different stream like:

Administrators - ICT security AD8

Administrators - IT and data governance, programme/portfolio and project management, project management office (PMO), business and enterprise architecture AD7

Administrators - ICT infrastructures, cloud, networks and middleware AD7

Technically I satisfy all of them but can I apply for multiple at once or do I have to select one?
