Industrial Economics EPSO/AD/402/23 – Administrators (AD 6)

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know by when the Industrial Economics tests will take place?

According to the Corrigendum to the notice amending the notice of open competition, the new date to upload the supporting documents is 31st of December 2024. Do you believe the tests will take place early 2025?

 

Is the level of the difficulty of FG I and FG II in the epso test the same ?

My question is : the job i applied for is FG I , will be the difficulty level like FG II or easier ?

I took the translation test for this competition last month and was wondering whether anyone heard anything about the results? Or does anyone know how long it takes for the tests to be marked?

Hey,

 I wonder if EPSO has some penalty points system due to the amount of "typos" in your text. e.g if you are used to writing via Word.docx or any text box with autocorrection (like this one here).  I wonder this because it's not a language test and you can write sure understandably but if you miss some letters or do typos the reader still knows what you mean but it's wrong does it matter in overall valuation even having said that it's not a language test. 

Recently passed an AD6 competition. Is it normal that 94% of individuals on the reserve list work already for the institutions?

I am data driven and I did take the time to do an analysis with the help of LinkedIn. 

Total names on the reserve list (excluding the hidden ones) = 59

Individuals who work / have worked for any of the institutions / agencies = 56

Successful external candidates without institutions / agencies experiences = 3

56 out of 59 = 94.91% 

Wondering if others made similar observations for other competitions?

AD Transport - 25 September, test schedule

Hi all.

AD Transport tests will be held on 25 September starting at 10:00 if EPSO does not change its plan.

Question for people experienced in EPSO tests: how long can the tests delay? I mean, if reasoning tests start at 10:00, can it be expected than MCQ tests can be held inmmediately after reasoning test and therefore we have completed the tests by 14.00 or 15.00?

Or is it commom that EPSO plans a long testing day and we can take written test by, let´s say, 17.00.

Can anyone share his/her experience on this topic?

I have done +1000 tests verbal+numerical

and I still can not get an average of over 50% correct answers in exam mode.

Sometimes my positive attitude is effin challenged when I see results of  10% or 30% correct answers in exam mode...

Hell....I'm even an engineer and my cognitive skills are this bad. Maybe I got a hangover because the testing exams are on 25 September.

Verbals I get everytime in exam mode about 60% correct which is enough. 

 

Ps. I hope epso makes their test easier than in this website for dummies like me.--.

Difference between contract agent (CA) and temporary agent (TA)

What are the differences between temporary agent and contract agent? Is it possible to be hired in one of the two categories without having passed the CAST? And what about the internal / external competitions? Thank you very much to who is willing to answer :)

Hello,

I would like to have someones experiences shared here about the written test. 

Mainly how the structure of the question is positioned do you have to do parallel views of your writings e.g one towards politicians and the other to public?

Also they say it is not an English test. So I wonder how it's not... what I mean if your vocabulary is better and larger you can outplay anyone with better professional words and overall.  Or are you allowed to use dictionary to close the gap off in English skills?
