Epso exams - Notification period

Does anybody know roughly how much in advance of the exam applicants receive the invitation to the exam for Epso competitions? I imagine it will be at least 2 weeks in advance due to the written test requirements.

Ridicilous number of applicants and only 80 get in to reserve list...

New application period 01/03/2024 - 09/04/2024 3935 To be honest this feels bit too much towards the number of open spots in reserve list 

I think EPSO and DG move should not accept so  wide range of different academic backgrounds. no sense that urban planners can be applicants 

This is just wide open for everyone from lawyers to architects to engineers to economics makes no sense.

Request for documents a good thing?

Hi, 

I recently got contacted by EPSO to provide more documentation for my past experience. It should clearly indicate my duties in some past experience. 

I participated in the IT Specialist Competition. The results should come out this month.

Do you believe this is a positive thing and I might have gotten into the reserve list?

Any feedback from past experecience people here?

Hello everybody. I was invited to the Entry Online Written Test for the post in FRONTEX. Could you share your experience on this matter? Are there any tests available on the EU Training Web? If so, how to find them. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Hello,

do you have any suggestion on how to prepare for the MCQ pre-selection test for this competition for translators in the EP?

I thought the test was about questions on EU and EP but it looks to be much closer to verbal reasoning test. Any advice?

Blue Book - assessing my odds

Hi,

about one month ago I submitted my application to the Oct session of the Blue Book. The deadline was last week so the preselection results will only come out around late April at the earliest. I am a bit impatient since I'm currently stuck in a job I don't like, but I also want to be realistic.

I am assuming that supporting documents for the applications can be submitted in any official EU language? They are not explicit about this in the request, and I don't seem to be able to find a direct answer, but this would make sense to me. If they had to be translated I assume they would state this. But with EPSO anything is possible, so I am checking here what is the consensus on this point?

Good morning everyone,

More than one week ago I've submitted my application for the next CAST selection that will take place on the 13th/14th of March (computer-based test); this is the period to book the exam (4th/7th March) but I still wait to know if I've been pre-selected or not. Do you know how long should I wait?
