Registration will remain open until 8 September 2020, giving applicants all Summer long to get fully prepared for the pre-selection exams - which they are going to need as this competition is expected to be hugely popular and extremely competitive.
The last time we saw this competition come around was 2 years ago in 2017...so many are eagerly waiting for it to start.
Candidates will have the option of two grade levels: SC-1 and SC-2.
Specific details about the qualifications and experience required for each grade will be outlined in the official Notice of Competition.
In preparation for this highly anticipated competition, EU Training has organised a FREE 2020 EPSO Secretaries Exams - Information Webcast session on 25 June @ 12:30, to discuss the key elements of this competition and how best to prepare for each stage. The recording of this session is now available to view here for FREE.
If you can't attend the live session on this date/time, no problem! Register for this session anyway and we will add the recording to your EU Training account as soon as it is loaded to the website. This way you can view it any time you want, as many times as you want. Easy!

Ongoing Competitions and CAST Exams
EPSO has announced that due to the generally improving situation concerning COVID-19 in Europe (which we all hope this positive trend will continue), EPSO has started to organise tests for some smaller groups of candidates.
The virus situation is being heavily monitored and many precautionary measures have been put in place at Prometric test centers.
The different rules currently in place throughout the different Member States and other countries are naturally being taken into account, but It does seem like things are slowly starting to open up again.
Those competitions that made it to (or were in the process of undertaking) the Assessment Centre round just before COVID-19 struck, can expect their exams to take place from September onwards.
No EPSO Assessment Centres will take place before September 2020.
So what are you going to do with all this additional preparation time? Taken a look at our online training opportunities, there are a lot of great Assessment Centre simulation sessions coming up over the Summer!
