Hi everyone and happy new year!
I hope you´re all doing great.
I come here with the following question: I took the pre-selection tests for AD5 in European Law in mid december and still haven´t heard nothing about notification of results. The girl at the centre told me it is all notified by EPSO account, but I haven´t received anything yet. Does anyone know when is it expected to know the results? Do they communicate them all at once? If anyone also knows when the next phase of competition is taking place, I will be so grateful.
Thank you very much.
Hi! According to my
Hi! According to my experience, EPSO always sent out the result, more or less, after one month. But this time, given the Christmas break and the fact that some centres are closed due to the pandemic, I think it mat take longer.
We don't have any information about the next phase, I am sorry. We have to wait!
Thank you very much, we´ll
Thank you very much, we´ll wait then. :-)

Hi and happy new year,
Hi and happy new year,
I havent received anything yet either. We were supposed to receive a notification about 2 weeks after the exams period was finished...Maybe there was a delay due to the holidays...

Hello, I just read that they will allow people who could not take the test because of Covid to retake it in MArch so we will have to wait end of March for the results..

Hi Ilaria! Yes, exactly, that is what´s actually going on. First test period for those who did not take it in 2020 will finish end of this month, so let´s hopefully wait until end of march to be notified. I guess there might be at least 1 full month to prepare before the second test, although it may cause disadvantage to those taking the first one this month. :-/
Thank you for your reply!!! And best of luck to you. :-)
Indeed! do you have any
Indeed! do you have any particular suggestons on how to prepare for the law related part?
Thank you in advance for your tips!

I am preparing with the book
I am preparing with the book recommended on this webpage, "EU law - text, cases and materials", by Paul Craig and Gráinne de Búrca. It is VERY useful and well organized. Also, I am taking the EU tests offered here at EU Training (you can check your answers one-by-one with the legal explanation and learn a lot, they also refer you the article and body law where the answer is placed).
Beside that, I read the TEU and the TFEU and try to acknoledge the main principles on the articles.
Anytime, Ilaria. :-)
Hello!
Hello!
Please, I have a question. I will pass the test but I don't understand one thing, the "langage comprehension" part is equivalent to "situational jugement"?
Hello Jeison!
Hello Jeison!
No, those are different things. Language comprehension test is a 12-question test about a reading in the language you chose, to check on your general comprehension of the text given.
The situational judgement test is not taken in this EU Law competition.
Hello!
Hello!
I have another question. The time counts when we answer to each question in the test? EPSO takes the fastest candidates? or, it doesn't matter?
Thank you very much!
Time is not taken into
Time is not taken into account, you are just given a precise time for each exercise and have to complete the more questions you are able to given that time.
Best of luck with your exam!!!

Hi!
Hi!
The second CBT will consist of 40 questions about EU law (pass grade 20 I think but only the ones who scored the best will pass) + Languange test (your second language - you have to score min 6 out of 12)
Hi Cristina,
Hi Cristina,
Many thanks for the precision.
Are you aware about any book or support material available in order to be prepared for EU Law?
Many thanks in advance
