Goodmorning everybody,

I write as I need to have some additional information about the study material I will have to get in prevision of the EUIPO/CAST/1/16 - ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT - Function Group III.

Is there anybody preparing for these exams?

Do I have to refer to the EPSO Assistant Preparation Services material or to CAST Exam/ communication section of the website ? (provided that I have applied for Administrative support and that this role seems to relate to communication and events management?)

Anyone knows if for the new CAST EPSO/CAST/P/11/2017 we can apply only for one profile (i.e. communication) only? Or are we free to apply for several differnet profiles?

I would like people to give their opinions and personal experience about some products offered in this page. I will tell you mine: 1) Verbal, are not bad, but maybe bit focused in the same sources (press agencies mainly), some more variety would contribute to add  a plus of quality to them. I use to get arround 17-18/20  2) Numerical are so repetitive, and maybe encourage the fast use of calculator more than arithmetic thinking itself.  My average ranges between 9-10/10 3) Abstract reasoning tests are way easier than those that will have to face in the exams.

Hi EUTRAINING !  I need a basic information from u ! As far as u have noticed if  someone wants to apply for an AST3 position is usually necessary to have some years experinces in the field where he/she  wants to apply ? No working experince for AST1 and some for AST3 ? Thank you!

Hallo,

The EUIPO has recently announced a selection procedure to recruit contract agents.

Would you please advise on the differences in the two possibilities:

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SUPPORT  – Function Group III (FGIII)
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SPECIALIST - Function group IV (FGIV)

Is the first option referring to Assistants and the second to Administrators? What differences can there be in the selection proceeding and tests between the two function groups III and IV?

2016 Translators (EPSO/AD/325-329/16 ) - invitation to translation tests?

Hi guys,

Has anyone who passed the CBT in September and has been admitted to the second stage received an invitation to the translation test yet? According to the Indicative Planning table, we are supposed to sit the translation test in January 2017, but it has been 3 weeks since any new messages have appeared in my Epso account.
