Could you please suggest materials to prepare this competency test? 

If you already took the test, could you share insights about your experience?
If you prepared yourself by it using EU Training questions, were the questions relevant to the actual test? Did they help you to sucssesfully solve the test?

I’ve been training for a while with EU training packages which I must say are great!

I have been invited for a CAST FGIV policy officer test. I’m not worried at all for verbal, abstract and numerical reasoning test as I’m performing pretty well.

I’m more worried for the competency test on policy.

Can somebody advice on documents to read, beside reg.s on 988, 966 and general infomration one can find on EU Commission website?

I know this question has been asked already but, as I didn't see any reply, I am asking here again. I bought the basic pacakge for AST-SC and now I'd need to buy more questions as I ran out but before proceeding I would like to know if I add more questions to my "Basic IT Literacy" ones will they be similar to the ones I have already bought or more in line with the Prometric ones? I strongly believe the questions of Basic IT Literacy in my basic pacakge don't match the ones I will be facing at CBT so I won't bother to add more if they follow the same concept. Many thanks!

Does anyone know how they will score the upcoming AST computer based Multiple Choice Question test? 

For example 3 years ago I have taken part into an AD competition and in that case we had four tests (Verbal reasoning, Numerical reasoning, Abstract reasoning and Situational judgement), the minimum pass marks had to be achieved in all tests in order to qualify for the next stage of the competition, however only tests Abstract reasoning and Situational judgement were used to calculate the total score.

Will it be a similar thing for AST?

Hello, I have a question concerning the packages for CAST. Since CAST FGIV and EPSO AD5 are apparently of the same level of difficulty, does it mean that someone who is preparing for CAST FGIV should buy package for AD instead of CAST? I am afraid that perhaps CAST questions could be easier than those I will face in CAST FGIV... I would appreciate an answer, thanks in advance!

Today I have received the notice from EPSO that unfortunately I did not pass the MSQ test for Visual Communication Assistant, which had one of the lowest applicant numbers (around 300) I have seen.

My results were, as received, following:

Test (a) :   Verbal reasoning: 8.000 /20 (pass mark: 10/20)

Test (b) :   Numerical reasoning: 7.000 /10

Test (c) :   Abstract reasoning: 9.000 /10

Total for tests (b) and (c):   16.000 /20 (aggregate pass mark: 10/20)

I open this thread to comment about this competition, Research Programme Administrators (REA/TA/AD6/01/18), to be elegible to work at the Research Executive Agency (REA).

Although just finished the Assessment Centre tests from AD5 generalists, one never knows... I will apply for the "Engineering, ICT, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and/or Space science", with 30 positions at the reserve list.

I was browsing through your training packages but couldn't find one specifically designed for Linguistic Assistants.

Which do you recommend? The Linguist package or the Assistants package?

Do you guarantee that all the questions are going to be new or not?
