EPSO COMPETITIONS

After my first contact with EPSO competitions, I am curious about how are we, the candidates, assured of the transparency of the selection procedures, which a more informed member could perhaps enlighten me. To elaborate:

I have a curiosity for those who (successfully) passed the CBT already or the moderators of this forum who definitely have lot of experience with this.

How much time should one employ in preparing the CBT ( per day/week)?

Any tips for doing this the best way possible? I know my question might sound stupid, but I really want to prepare well,  just that I am working full time (and sometimes overtime) and also have a toddler at home, so not much time available and want to organize myself properly as much as possible.

I have purchased two case studies with evaluation for one of them. Provided my exam is planned for the 10th of May (in two days), could I get a corresponding sample answer even if the time for evaluation is "too short"? If this is an option, thanks in advance to share how I can request it.

I checked Epso website and saw that they do not mention anymore the approximate dates when the next competitions would be launched. For example, the most recent ones were supposed to be launched in May (this was written on the Epso webpage some weeks ago), however now, this reference to May disappeared. Are these (May) competitions postponed or when should we expect for these to be published?

I am really confused as to what expect regarding the written test in the field for the specialist competition (Administrators in the field of space) scheduled on 19 june 2023.

The description of this specific test in the notice of competition and in EPSO website is extremely vague. It basically says that "A specific situation is provided in the form of a short written briefing, and candidates are asked to write about the ways to address this situation."

Dear Eutraining team, I see that there is not seminar planned on SCBI head of EU delegations, only field related interview. Are you planning to organise one on  SCBI?

Do you know where to find examples, books, exercises to purchase of written test assignment (e.g., minutes, letter or note) in English, 120 min for SC2 competition ?

Hello,

I have just bought a basic pack for the CAST Information Technology (200, 100, 100, 100) but in my balance there are 180, 90, 90, 90. I haven't done/created any test yet.

Morning all, Does anyone know the passing score (I hear 50 or 60%)? I have the 3 reasoning tests next week for CAST FG IV. 

And are points deducted for wrong answers?

Hi everyone, a couple of years ago, the list of aptitude for a dozen of COM/TA competitions was published, both for AD and AST, in several fields ( HPC, data science, cloud, etc). The lists in some of them expired and was extended for a year while for others expires in the following weeks.
