Assistants (AST)

European permanent officials or Temporary Agents, are categorised into Administrator (AD) and Assistant (AST) groups. Assistants must have a high school or vocational school qualification and may or may not possess professional experience. For AST3, however, professional experience or higher level qualification is required as there are AST3 positions covering financial management, project management, communication or other related issues.
