Do you have an EPSO computer-based test coming up?
The Verbal, Numerical, and Abstract Reasoning Tests for a number of EPSO competitions is rapidly approaching as part of the Assessment Centre.
These tests are not difficult, but the tight time limits make them challenging - so the sooner you start training for them the better!
It does take time and requires consistent, regular practice to master these EPSO computer-based reasoning tests.
But it certainly helps if you have some tricks up your sleeve so you can cut corners and recognise opportunities to maximise your exam score.
Get the most out of your practice simulation tests by joining a training session where you'll learn vital tips and tricks from an EPSO expert.
EU Training’s "Master the EPSO Computer-Based Tests (Online Training)" workshop is designed to help calm nerves and build your confidence before the big day.
This full-day training session will cover all three mandatory EPSO computer-based tests (Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning), and offers the opportunity to ask questions throughout from our highly experienced instructor
During the workshop, you will dive into the methodology of each test, receive valuable tips and tricks, and then apply this knowledge via practical simulations for each test type.
Each exam topic will be split into two parts:
- PART 1 - explores test methodology, insights and tips,
- PART 2 - applies this knowledge via test simulations.
NEXT TRAINING DATE: THIS SATURDAY - 26 MARCH
Does your Assessment Centre include a Case Study?
Start by watching our EPSO Case Study Exam Insights webinar, which gives a detailed overview of the Case Study component of the EPSO Assessment Centre and explores the methodologies to get the highest scores, offers practical advice on how to structure your time, and manage difficulties.
Then try a simulation to get a feel for what this computer-based test is like. You can also have your completed simulations evaluated by an assessor if you like (evaluations also come with sample solutions).
Does your Assessment Centre include a Written Test (in the field)?
If EPSO releases a Written Test assignment pack for an EPSO competition, EU Training will organise an EPSO Written Test Insights webinar tailored to each unique competition.
During these live sessions, our trainers will guide you through the preparation process of this Assessment Center exam component and assist candidates in their analysis and interpretation of the assignment pack's contents.
If you would like to know when the Written Test Insights webinar tailored to your specific competition will take place, please ask to be added to our Training Contacts List (provide the EPSO competition you are undertaking and which Assessment Centre exercise you would like to train for). Participant numbers are not limited at these webinar sessions.
Alternatively, you can view our available Written Test Insights webinar recording, which provides tips and strategies on how to prepare for this exercise, so you don't feel overwhelmed on exam day.
Does your Assessment Centre include an Oral Presentation exercise?
Our current Oral Presentation training sessions are tailored to candidates participating in the AD5 EU Law (EPSO/AD/381/20) competition.
EPSO has released THREE Oral Presentation packs for this competition, which are available here. During this workshop, your trainer will use these assignment packs to simulate the Oral Presentation exercise.
Our aim is to help you become familiar with the Oral Presentation exercise and its requirements, as well as, assist you in your preparation so you become comfortable with this test component.
However, before you undertake an Oral Presentation training session we recommend that you watch this free webinar: "Understanding EPSO Competencies and Values".
UPCOMING SESSIONS:
30 MARCH (3 spots left), 31 MARCH (full), 1 APRIL (full), 8 APRIL, 12 APRIL, 13 APRIL (full), 21 APRIL, & 26 APRIL
If you would like to be notified when Oral Presentation sessions tailored to your specific competition do become available, please ask to be added to our Training Contacts List (provide the EPSO competition you are undertaking and which Assessment Centre exercise you would like to train for). Please note that being added to this list does not automatically guarantee you a spot at a training session.
Does your Assessment Centre include a Field-Related Interview?
As exam periods approach, EU Training organises virtual Field-Related Interview simulation sessions tailored to each unique EPSO competition. This allows candidates participating in the same competition to come together to answer 'likely' interview questions, discuss responses and share feedback/suggestions through the guidance of an EPSO expert.
If you would like to be notified when Field-Related Interview sessions tailored to your specific competition do become available, please ask to be added to our Training Contacts List (provide the EPSO competition you are undertaking and which Assessment Centre exercise you would like to train for). Please note that being added to this list does not automatically guarantee you a spot at a training session.
To help candidates prepare for the Field-Related Interview, EU Training has released virtual training sessions for the following competitions:
EPSO/AST-SC/10/20 – Secretaries EPSO competition
-
UPCOMING SESSIONS: 1 APRIL (full), 5 APRIL, 7 APRIL (full), 12 APRIL (full), 12 APRIL, 14 APRIL (full), 20 APRIL (full), 21 APRIL (9AM), 21 APRIL (full), 22 APRIL, 26 APRIL (9AM), 26 APRIL, 27 APRIL (full), & 29 APRIL (full).

Does your Assessment Centre include a Role Play exercise?
These sessions are tailored to candidates that will need to undertake a Role Play as part of their EPSO Assessment Centre. Currently, these sessions are most suitable for candidates participating in the Secretary (EPSO/AST-SC/10/20) competition.
Our aim is to help candidates become familiar with the Role Play exercise and its requirements.
The simulation exercises used at these sessions have been created by EU Training - therefore the trainer will NOT analyse assignment packs released by EPSO.
These "generic" sessions allow you to start familiarising yourself with this exam exercise now rather than waiting until EPSO releases the assignment pack - which may not give you enough time to prepare properly.
UPCOMING SESSIONS:
5 APRIL (full), 6 APRIL, 7 APRIL, 8 APRIL (full), 12 APRIL (full), 14 APRIL (full), 20 APRIL, 22 APRIL (1 spot left), 26 APRIL, 27 APRIL, & 29 APRIL (3 spots left)
Does your Assessment Centre include a Competency-Based Interview?
Participate in a virtual CBI simulation session to answer 'likely' interview questions and get feedback from an EPSO expert. Doing this now will allow you time to perfect your answers and gain suggestions on where/how you could improve further.
However, before you undertake a CBI training session make sure you clearly understand this exam's methodology - view our EPSO Competency-Based Interview Insights webinar. Also, we recommend that you watch this free webinar: "Understanding EPSO Competencies and Values".
