The current CAST call for applications states "Only qualifications issued or recognised as equivalent by EU Member State authorities (e.g. by the Ministry of Education) will be accepted. Furthermore, before recruitment, you will be required to provide the documents that corroborate your eligibility and the information in your application form (diplomas, certificates and other supporting documents)."

Does anyone have any advice on what this means in practice if one has an American degree? Is there some kind of certificate of approval one needs to get (and if so, from whom?) prior to submitting the application?
