Open Competition: EPSO/AST/142/17 - MT - Proofreaders/Language editors (AST 3) Field: PROOFREADERS / LANGUAGE EDITORS
For this competition the Assessment Centre will be split in three parts (one day for the Case Study, one day for the computerbased Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) tests and the field-specific competency test and one day for the other Assessment Centre exercises). The Case Study will take place on 12/04/2018 in test centres across the 28 EU countries.
Could anyone let me know how exactly would such a Case Study be, in what language and how long etc. I never reached this stage so it is a first time for me.

The Case Study is a test of your ability to read and comprehend a large body of information, draw reasoned conclusions and devise a plan in order to meet a set objective. I would recommend you refer to our website where you can access ‘The Perfect Case Study Guidebook’: a free resource written by a former EPSO selection board president. Alternately, we have some Tips and Tricks articles and a Case Study Insights webinar.
According to the Notice of Competition, the Case study will be performed in your Language 2, that must be either English or French for this competition.
The duration of the case study should have been stated in the invitation you received to the AC. Considering the exercise is going to be testing 4 competencies I assume that it'll take 90 minutes, however I advise that you double-check this issue with EPSO directly.
