GDP 2000: 41 100/0.0245= 1677551
GDP 2003: 1677551*1.02= 1711102
government R&D 2000: 41 100* 0.314= 12905.4
government R&D 2003:1711102*0.0252*0.312= 13453.368
2003/2000 = (13453.368/12905.4 - 1)*100= 4.25%
ah yes- I was misunderstanding the R&D expenditure column for government R&D spending... thank you for your very efficient answer!
