Hi,
As in understand that some tests may have now taken place using the new provider (CAST, translators), TestWe, i was wondering if you know what the calculator looks like (Which commands does it have? parentheses? MS/MR? etc) and what the scrathpad looks like.
thank you!

Hi: in my recent experience,
Hi: in my recent experience, the calculator is a simple one and the scratchpad is useless. You will waste too much time if you try to use both and you cannot copy and paste between them. I think it's more useful to learn how to calculate with your brain and use your short term memory. Welcome to EPSO brand new system!
Hi Maria, one question about
Hi Maria, one question about the timer: I read that if you do quick for one question, this time won´t be available for next questions, however if I want to skip a question can I do it and return at the end?
Thanks in advance and good luck!
Hi Marie: in my experience
Hi Marie: in my experience you can always return to questions within the allocated time for the whole test, i.e. there is no maximum time allocated for each question, it is you who decide how to manage your time for the whole test.
As for the last comment on the impossibility to find the scratchpad: that was my problem too, I could find the calculator but NOT the scratchpad, so I never got to use it.
As EPSO states there´s nothing they can change from the software, all technical issues you don´t complain about at the right moment, can´t be claimed later on.
Good luck with it.
Maria
I did the AD test on 25/9/24,
I did the AD test on 25/9/24, i didn't find the scratchpad! the calculator flotted on the screen and not so easy to move it
Will TestWe continue being
Will TestWe continue being the test provider? It is uncertain, as there is a current call for tender until end of November: https://eu-careers.europa.eu/es/news/epso-call-tender-computer-based-tes...
I'm surprised it only covers a 48-month contract, it seems to me a very short term, considering how long EPSO competitions are.
Distance testing is here to stay, despite the considerable drawbacks it poses to candidates: https://www.ombudsman.europa.eu/en/decision/en/180990
