Just had E-tray!

Hello everybody,

I did the day defore yesterday the e-tray for auditors and would like to share my experience with you.

Before starting, a little disclaimer: I am just talking about what I found, nothing implies that the same findings are valid for other e-trays (esp. the AD generalist).

First, e-mails were 18 (and not 21) and scenarios too.  So since I had practised with Arboreus format with 21 e-mails and questions, I had some time more, could go back to e-mails a couple of times and take very short notes.

Differently from Arboreus training, highlighting the text was not possible, nor was marking questions.

E-mails were listed with subject and author (no date in the list).  Be careful, some relevant info is inside massages with misleading subjects! e.g. , my boss wrote a message about something and ended up with "by the way, I need you to do also...", in order to make info research harder.

A great part of the exercise was on dates, meaning prioritising activities by taking into considerations traps with overlapping dates.

If you are quite sentitive, please stop reading here! :) I actually found the exercise more difficult than the training.  While in training several scenarios are clear (e.g.  answers who do not care about emotional status of other people have always to be judged as negative), in the exam I had many more doubts.  But maybe it is normal for an actual competition.

Finger cross for everyone who is still going to stand the exam.. including me for the AD generalist next week!

Hello,

This is great feedback. Thank you. What kind of scenario did you have?: Was it a specific day or did you have to answer the questions relating to different days? Did you take over the job from someone or was it your normal job?

Were there also questions not relating to any emails?

Thanks a lot!

I am happy for being useful!

I am happy for being useful!

About the test.. well I have practiced too many times after.. I try to remember at my best.

As far as I could notice, all questions had their answer in the emails or in their connections.

It was a specific day and most emails were in my box already, a couple arrived later to make things more difficult.

It was my regular job, but i was just back to office after a period of leave.

Good luck everybody!

Hi everybody,

I just had the AD5 e-Tray today and it matches more or less the above description- 17 questions, the level of difficulty was similar to the EU training ones. There were some more difficult questions on prioritising where the options were not straight-forward and were to be found in many different emails. Overall it is not very difficult, but this might be tricky as well. Good luck to all!
