How long does the recruitment procedure take?

Hi all! I received a mail from HR, dated 14 June, informing me that the request for my recruitment was launched, and there has been no further news from them. Does anybody know if it is a normal delay, and how long the procedure usually takes?

Hola Alberto,

I recommend you to take it easy. It is not only that summer is approaching, but the entire process can take long.
It took to me just two months from formal request to my entry into service... and it was quite fast.

It could be also in September, but never before. Anyway, you will be given some time to decide your first labour day, which will be 1st or 16th of a given month to match the needed welcoming course.

Many thanks. Last Friday I received a new mail from the HR service, answering my questions, and yes, they also inform me that I can decide the start date.

No, it's not yet the offer letter, but a mail informing me that everything is OK, and the procedure is in progress.
