Hi,
I did the competency test in English. I'm interested in having your opinion about the 25 questions. I found that some of them contained relevant errors of translation from another language into English, including informal words and abbreviations wrongly used (i.e. "temps", and/or other more relevant mistakes), as well as grammatical errors. As a result sentences were misleading. In my opinion we should raise the issue to EPSO otherwise they will continue to apply this unfair selection process.
You should know that you can always submit a complaint through https://europa.eu/epso/application/base/?communication/webform/index&use...

Where can we find information about competency test?
The only thing I could find so far are the sample tests on the EPSO-webpage
Hi,
have you got the results? For the competency test, your score is on xx/20 or xxx/25?
Hi,
I passed the exam for Project managers yesterday. Concerning the competency test my assessment is the following: have a good overall knowledge of the European Institutions and their interaction with the EC. Furthermore have a knowledge on EU project management. And also, have some basic knowledge on project management as such. The questions are not very long and do not go into details.
I hope this information helps you and good luck!
And to reply to nicolagabbia: since there were 25 competency questions I think it should be xx/25. If I am correct you need 16 correct answers for FG IV and 13 for FG III, but maybe I am wrong here.
hi Doris,
Epso informed you that you are on the reserve list?

Dear Simka,
I submitted my application a few months ago and I did not receive any invitation letter.
What kind of experiences they want? Because I have a lot.
ana
I suppose they are looking for previous experience related to EU projects /grants/tenders as the executive agencies are generally managing EU programmes on behalf of EC.
yes, all 3 are also tested ..see more détails here

Dear Ana,
I have really no clue how are there selecting people. I am working at the EC but not as project officer so my experience is not so related. I know many people with PM experience and they haven't been invited for the exam
One question regarding the
One question regarding the languages.
In which language the verbal reasing test are writen originally? Does anyone recommed to do the verbal reasong in the mother toungue?
I supposed these questions were written in English so it's the best language to do the exam. But I'm surprised what with you say about mistakes in Englsh.
On the other hand it's always easier to read in your mother tongue. But the translations and the details of the texts are good enough?
Thanks!
