Maybe there are people with a bigger experience that can say sth about the possibile threshold for this exam? 85 seems not realistic to me. I have always thought that it should be at least 95%? having in mind that for 75 places there were 3000 candidates...

I think (if you have the required experience) you will be invited to the next stage of this competition. Several of the previous AST competitions needed a score between 84% and 85%. The percentages of 95% to 97% is referring (in my experience) to the percentage of people failing to pass the competitions.

but with 36 you should be ok
