EPSO/AST/135/15 (AST 4) - CBT Result

fermacje@jcyl.es Fri, 09/25/2015 - 18:27

Hello everyone,

The result of the CBT test for the assistant competition "Head of administration" are out.
Anyone wants to share their results? I really wonder what the cut mark will be for this one.

I got 32/40 and I really hope to get through the talent screener.

Hi Titibab,

I got 39/40... let's see.

titibab Fri, 09/25/2015 - 20:03

Well done Nicolas! At least, you know you well get to the talent screener phase.

I got 39/40... However we have to admit that the level of the difficulty was very low in comparison to the AD (Generalists and Auditors) competitions and the AST3 in parliamentary work that took place this year...

titibab Sat, 09/26/2015 - 02:57

I guess it will also depend on how strict they are one the eligibility requirements, especially the type of professional experiences.

valerio Sat, 09/26/2015 - 14:15

me too 39/40. Let's see what happens on the talent screener. Fingers crossed!

Before we get to the talent screener, we have to pass the eligibility. I am not sure how someone can have the professional background to enter two very different specialist competitions (AST in parliamentary work and AST head of administration). Chances are such person won't be eligible for at least one of the two.

This is true, but it is a common practice. A lot of candidates apply to all competitions every year so as to practice, so as to be mentally prepared for the EPSO competition they are eligible for.

I got 38/40 but it seems not to be an achievement! :-D With so many 39s i guess nothing is for sure for my way to the assessment centre. Now we have to wait for the invitation or the "we regret to inform you" message.Good luck to everybody and maybe we can drink some beers somewhere in Brussels after the AC is successfully finished!

titibab Sun, 09/27/2015 - 11:48

Pedro, if you think you're eligible then with such a score you have a fair shot at having your file go to the talent screener. Only around 270 will have their talent screener evaluated.

titibab Wed, 10/07/2015 - 21:01

I got a letter today in my epso account saying that I will go to the talent screener phase.
They didn't say in the letter what the pass mark was but I got "only" 32 at the CBT.
Now more waiting to know if I get invited to the AC.

titibab Thu, 10/08/2015 - 13:05

31 was the passmark

Admission results - first phase

Hello to all, and Titibab

Does the mark obtained at the CBT still matter at the stage of talent screening? I thought no. As long as you get to the talent screening phase the count starts from zero. If you have a higher mark in the talent screening than someone you had 40 at the CBT you can go to the Assessment Centre and the 40-point candidate could stay out. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Good luck to all
Sonja

Hello Sonja,

No, you are right. Once you get to the talent screener phase, your CBT score doesn't apply anymore.
The CBT passmark was 31.
The talent screener passmark was 23.
I just got invited to the assessment center, they say it will take place over two non consecutive day.

Good luck everyone.

Hello Titibab and thanks for replying. I am just learning the procedure, I did not participate in this competition even. Waiting for the coming ones to open again... Well done and all the best for the Assessment Center. Prepare yourself the best you can and good luck.
