I am not living in Brussels but if anyone wants to share info by email/skype or meet in Madrid (Spain) I would be more than happy to do it.

I'll be in Madrid after the 11 of November. I know it's very late but hey, better late than never. (before moving there I'll be in Turin)

Simo Thu, 10/22/2015 - 00:48

By the way, how does the case study work? Are they gonna record us?

David - EU Training Thu, 10/22/2015 - 15:39

Hi Alessio and others,
My name is David and I am member of the EU Training team.
We are considering introducing some features on the eutraining website that would help users in finding ways of working together with other users. We would grateful if you could share any experience with your study group, like any hints on how you studied together, which exam stages you prepared for with another candidate, what topics were discussed, whether you collaborated F2F or online - all of these can help us develop a function that can best assist your EPSO preparation.
Thank you and good luck with your preparation!
David @ EU Training

Hi guys, I am currently applying for AD 5 2016, I am graduated in Economics, 240 ECTS, from Spain.
I have no relevant proffesional experience in the field, just the degree, which is enough for AD5.

I have some doubts about the Selection Board validation procedure to the next stage (AC).

You must bring to the AC your documentation? send them? they just validate your application form at that point, and you are required to present the formal documents at the end of whole process (after AC)?

Which documents are required for academic qualifications? the bachellor degree certification? academic records?

thanks in advance,
Iván.

Hi Ivan,

first of all how is it possible you are applying for 2016 competition if it is not yet announced and all upcoming competitions are put on hold indefinitely because of the court case against EPSO? Secondly - yeah, you must bring all your documentation to AC and they validate it after the AC if you have high enough mark to pass. As for which documents you should bring, it will be stated very clearly in the invitation to AC what to bring if you are actually invited. For academic qualifications you'll need your university diploma with annexes (academic records) and also a document giving you the right to post-secondary education (usually your secondary school diploma). But you should specify to what competition are you applying so people on this forum could give you more specific information.

You are most likely talking about the AD5 generalist competition EPSO/AD/301/15 which is currently running and for which the Assessment Centre sessions will take place 18/11/2015-01/02/2016. Please note that you must bring with you to the AC uncertified COPIES. Do NOT bring your originals, they are not needed at this stage and no-one at the AC wants or needs to see them. If your diploma is in a language other than EN, FR or DE, you should provide a translation in one of these languages. You can do the translation yourself, it does not need to be an official one. All this should be clearly mentioned in the invitation to the AC you received, by the way.

If it should be that you succeed in the competition and end up on the list of laureates, DG HR will check the ORIGINALS of your diploma etc. at the recruitment stage.

Hi everyone, I am exited to have been invited to the AD5 generalist AC on 17th December in Brussels. Is there anyone in or around London who would like to meet up & prepare together? (I am from Germany but live in the UK.)

Karl Tue, 11/24/2015 - 14:18

Hi there

Is anyone taking AC on 26.01? I would be interested in sharing ideas and practicing group exercise!

Courage

Katja Wed, 11/25/2015 - 14:13

Hello,
would anyone like to practice for the AC in German?
Ich habe Deutsch als meine Zweitsprache beim EPSO angegeben und werde so das AC in Deusch machen. Ich wohne in Brüssel und würde mich freuen mit noch jemandem ein wenig gemeinsam zu üben!
