Hi there, I've been invited for a written test with the ECA. It's for an AD5 position. I don't have much info on the test except it could be between 30mins and 2 hours long. Because it's with the ECA, I'm assuming that it could be an Audit Case Study, however this is far from certain. I was wondering if anyone here who had expereince with this "written test" of the ECA could shed some light on this? My main questions are:
- Is the test an audit based case study?
- How long do you get for the test?
- Are you on your own or in an exam centre setting with other candidates?
- What preparation would you reccommend?
- Where can I get some audit case study examples with sample answers?
Any other tips or advie would be much appreciated. Thanks
Hello, Kilmurry48, maybe it
Hello, Kilmurry48, maybe it is part of Assessment Centre of EPSO 2018 competition for Administrator in the Field of Audit?
In this case, check carefully your invitation and you will find the available time: it is a Case Study to do in one hour and a half and soon after (maximum 20' break) the Written Test in the Field, one hour and a half, too. So they are different tests. You have to write them at a Prometric test centre (where you also stood the computer-based test) through a computer: all candidates who have booked their appointment in that place will be there.
As for the actual test content, there is no much material on-line. Try and check attachment I to the Notice of Competition, which describes an auditor's duties, to see what kind of matter would it be about, yet it is a bit vast..
In EPSO website, the AD Specialist Case Study example in English is about audit. Moreover, have a look on audit topics on the following link:
https://www.facebook.com/notes/online-eu-exams-and-epso-style-preparatio...
It is suggested by this site, too, and although it refer to the old kind of EPSO selection, they could be a hint.
Thank you if anyone can share their resources to practice!
