I know this question has already been asked in the past. Still, I would like to know your opinion since I am not 100% sure about how to proceed.
I would like to apply for the AD5 Graduate Administrator competition. During the 1st step, I have to provide my nationality. Since I am both French and German, I am not sure which one I should take, whether there is a difference in terms of quotas and which one would be more likely to succeed. What would you do?

Albert is right, there are no nationality quotas at the recruitment competition stage. They are only used when new Member States join.
Of course, you may think in the long term, i.e. if you are hoping to become a Director or higher one day, it may be more advantageous to be German than French. :-)
