This area is in deed very broad, and I am of the opinion that this is the purpose. It falls within the remit of the Selection Board to define which statistical methodologies will be considered as corresponding to this condition. To learn more about what could be meant by this area, I advise you read the duties in annex II field 2. These may help you to have a clearer view of what could be understood by this area.
