Hi,
I have asked ChatGPT whether the verbal tests on exam simulation mode for AD-6 Financial Economics in EU Training are more or less challenging than the real questions in the exams at EPSO (generally), and the response I got was very discouraging, as according to it the texts are more extense and the distractors are less obvious. This shattered me as I was training with EU Training already for 2 months and I always get between 12 and 14 questions in the verbal right out of 20, which is not a very safe mark if I am going to be facing even more difficult exams.
Has any of you taken the EPSO AD-6 exams after training at EU Training and is able to give me direct feedback on my concern?
Thank you very much
By "the texts are more
By "the texts are more extense and the distractors are less obvious" I meant in the real exam compared to EU Training
Hi Nicolás, I´m going to tell
Hi Nicolás, I´m going to tell you something no machine can: Practising helps you more in terms of speed, endurance, concentration and stress control. It´s very sad I have to say 'I agree with ChatGPT' (Gosh, where has humanity come to, that we get to ask an app for advice???): SOME EU training verbal questions are indeed shorter and far easier that what you find in EPSO, but it´s not a bad training at all because it makes you concentrate on content, synonymy and the risk of generalising. My suggestion is that you practice your ability to concentrate by doubling the number of questions you would get in EPSO, that way when you arrive to the real exam you´ll find it shorter and far easier.
In my case, verbals have never been the problem, but numericals. And if TestWE continues to be the testing software, it´s numericals you have to worry about, not verbals. In that sense, numericals in EU Training are difficult enough to provide a good practice.
I´ve been doing EPSO tests since EPSO was created (yes, I´m THAT old) and I´ve passed a few competitions, but never got to the reserve list, sometimes for as little as 1 point. I´m a temporary agent now, so somewhere along the line, I got noticed.
Keep on practising and don´t waste too much time asking questions to an app. It´s kind of sad. :-)

Hi Maria,
Hi Maria,
why does TestWe make numericals more difficult?
Best regards,

To EU Training: yes, please,
To EU Training: yes, please, do verbal questions a bit more difficult. Some answers are so obviously wrong, they defeat their purpose. To users: give feedback whenever an exercise is is too easy. EU Training does react and correct questions following feedback.

Hi Maria, thank you for the feedback. We hear you loud and clear. For a while now, our users have been requesting this, and we are looking into ways to update our database better to reflect the new standard for EPSO Verbal tests.
As for ChatGPT - don't give it too much thought. It loves to pretend that it knows about things that it does not.
Honestly, I have received
Honestly, I have received absolutely different feedback from different people: 1 person saying that EU Training verbals are more challenging, one person that says there is no difference, and two people saying that EU Training should be more challenging to actually represent EPSO exams. So I will just have to try and find myself

I want to add that EU Training offers different difficulty setting for different profiles. In order of increasing difficulty: AST, CAST, AD. Regardless of what package you purchase, you can always select from all available profiles and thus try different difficulty settings.

Hello, sorry for jumping in the chat, but I just wanted a clarification.
In the verbal reasoning CAST Exam, are there 4 options for each question just like here in EU Training?
Thank you!
