abstract tes levels of difficulty

Is it just my impression or anybody else has noted a sharp upscaling in the level of idiculty of the abstract tests in English in this page lately...??.

Thanks.

Really? I actually find the abstract tests much simpler than in previous years. Perhaps it is because I am taking them in Spanish, but most of the questions are just three different rotating patterns without any other complexity. I'm feeling quite disappointed, after having bought the most expensive package. I'll check in English to see if it's any different.

I have to say that the online abstract tests are easier than the tests of the book(ed 2016). I don't know why....in online abstract I reach excellent scores( 80-100%)...while some tests of the books are too much difficult...

That's for sure, Piero. When

That's for sure, Piero. When I mentioned the increase of difficulty of the abstract tests I was just making reference to the on-line tests. The Arboreus 2016 book's tests are by far the most difficult ones I ever faced (Me, personally, I never get more that 80%, being my average below this mark). Nevertheless, even though the increase of dificulty experimented by those on-line test (in English version), in my view they are still below the average level of the real EPSO exams.

Pfe@msn.com, try them in English. They are a bit more complicate and challenging.

I did. They are mostly the same. Nearly 18 or 19 out of 20 are just circular iterations of three different patterns. This is nothing like what you end up seeing at the actual exam, and also far simpler than what they used to offer in Arboreus in previous years. Frankly, after having bought the most expensive package, I feel cheated. This is not going to help me to prepare for the selection process.

Dear Pablo,

David @ EU Training Fri, 06/02/2017 - 15:01

Dear Pablo,

We are very sorry to read that we did not deliver the level of service you expected from our Abstract Reasoning tests.

I want to assure you that we have received feedback from a number of users over the last month regarding the difficulty of our Abstract Reasoning tests and have taken these comments onboard. As a result, we have specifically developed a new set of hard abstract reasoning questions that we are currently loading to the system. In the coming days 100 new/hard abstract reasoning questions will be added to the system. Please note that our database is made up of hard, medium and easy questions (just like at the EPSO exams) and it does not allow for duplication of questions. So, depending on how many tests you have taken in the past, it will determine what questions are still available to take in the future - this could also be effecting the questions being distributed to you. We hope your experience will improve shortly, due to these new questions being introduced and that you find that the abstract questions presented better match what you experienced in the past from our test system.

Kind regards,

David @ EU Training

Dear David,

I have already finished the 600 tests. How can I access the new 100 hard ones? I agree with the previous users whostated that the AR exercises were not so challenging so far.

Best regards,

Stavros

There is a way to select the most difficult one? I agee that the level of the abstract questions is very low comerping to the one in the past competition and the logic pretty different...I would love to practice using your most difficult one if I can select them.

I just passed the AD5_2017

brunovski75_94654 Tue, 06/20/2017 - 13:16

I just passed the AD5_2017 and I confirm that the abstract test is really more difficult than the most difficult questions I bought in EU training.

Concerning the verbal and numerical, the verbal is well calibrated comparing with EPSO and the numerical seemed harder here than at the test.

Nevertheless, it could also be bad luck (harder series, if there is such a thing).

BR and good luck

Bruno

Congrats Bruno!

I have just set the test in Madrid on June 26. How long did it take for you to receive the results in the CBT?

Thanks and best of luck!

I have to say that I find the abstract tests available at EU training quite easy as well, and much easier than the AD competitions I remember taking in the past. 80% of the test here are based on clockwise rotating shapes. So far I have done around 100 tests and none of them even seemed to have be 'instructions' based. It's quite dissapointing.

Cheers,

I agree that the abstract tests are easy and replicate the same patterns all the time. Feel it's a waste of money in preparation for the test
