As Ryan said in an another topic: the software froze at the start of the text. I called hte help line in France and Belgium 8-10 times. No answer! Eventually I managed to start again not being sure this is allowed

Same thing happened to numerous candidates, if not the majority. I have submitted a complaint to Epso about this as this is certainly not the way to sit for such an exam.

If you received confirmation

If you received confirmation (in an email) that your exam has been successfully delivered to TestWe, then I would assume that everything is OK. That's how I'm approaching it.

After all these tests in

DD Wed, 05/21/2025 - 12:03

After all these tests in reasoning capacities, I now realise I am a big fail. I don't understand whether I was right to restart my computer when on May 14 the test refused to launch after identity and environement control ("It is essential that candidates initially attempt to troubleshoot the issue themselves by following the provided instructions" writes Epso) or if it was an attempt to cheat, which is written everywhere on Test We instructions, even on the exam screen. As I don't wish to be eliminated from the competion on grounds of an attempt to cheat, I photographed and videoed everything and, after my complaint on May 14 and Epso's announcement on Monday according to which they would examine the complaints, I wrote to them to ask for an email address where I could send them the material proving I was not cheating but desperately trying to call Test We that wouldn't answer. Epso answered that there is no email adress and I must upload it together with my complaint. But their system accepts only 1 attachment (normally they know it) and I have a host of photographs and videos to document the long delayed start and each and every time the screen would freeze or refuse to mark the answer I had selected.

So what do I do now?

Wait for them to eliminate me not only from a resit but from the competition altogether because "I cheated"?

Fill 20+ complaints so that I can upload all the videos and photographs I took to their disfunctional system?

And, imagine they still grant me a resit. I have complained on March 6 because the test entirely failed to launch (I had somebody on the phone back then) and on May 14 because it launched very late, after restartign the computer. Epso writes: "Immediate reporting of any technical difficulties to the test provider is crucial. Additionally, all troubleshooting attempts will also be documented by the test provider for future reference and investigation. This ensures efficient and effective resolution of technical issues, minimising disruption to the candidate's testing experience." After the March 6 incident, I of course reported everything to both Test We and Epso but nothing on May 14 showed that the EPSO's statement above is accurate.

A quick verbal reasoning test now: if on March 6, I had somebody on the phone (who claimed there was something wrong with my computer, they changed their mind later when I said this is really fighting a bad war and offered to send them a word from my computer guy who had checked my device some days before the test) and couldn't sit the test at all, and on May 14, I had no one on the phone, managed to launch the test by myself but am liable to cheating accusations and, from a material feasibility point of view, they accept no proof to the contrary, what will happen next? After all they knew the problem I encountered on March 6 and did nothing to repair it. On May 13, I discussed with a guy at Test We on the phone, described the problem, and he only said "it is strange" (c'est étrange). Why should that work better next time even if they disregard their own rules about cheating and decide to grant me a resit?

And with all this surrealism and bad faith around, I wonder whether I shouldn't be hoping for an elimination so I have time for more interesting and creative stuff than reasoning tests, greek grammar, and trying to make sense out of disfuntional and contradictory EPSO and Test We rules and procedures.

I am really, really, really tired.

I was not aware that we

I was not aware that we should not restart our computer. I mean, it was the only way for me to actually be able to do the test in the end...

Do you have LinkedIn or somewhere we could talk about the exam? (I am the Greek fellow translator who commented on the other thread as well).

Hi there,

Hi there,

I just asked EU Training to communicate my name and contact details to you, I hope they will accept!

Proof of having called during

M. Wed, 05/21/2025 - 19:51

Proof of having called during the incident shoud be enough. Other options are: (1) Paste on a Word document relevant screenshots, convert it to a PDF and add it to your claim; (2) upload your videos and pictures to the cloud (for example, using Google Drive) and add the corresponding access link to the text in your complaint. They might choose to ignore it but at least you will have provided your evidence. I don't know if it's too late now, though. Deadline to complain about technical issues was the 17th May. If it's a complement to a previous claim it might be OK.

Amazing! This is so helpful!

Amazing! This is so helpful! So many thanks, I am going to do this tomorrow!

Has anyone else gotten an email from EPSO saying they are analysing the complaints received and the ones accepted will resit  on June 24th?

Yes, I got that email too. Ah

Yes, I got that email too. Ah well. If I've learned anything in life, it's that sometimes you get what you need; sometimes you get what you want; and sometimes... you get what you get. At this point I'm pretty much resigned.

Same here... this is frustrating. I wonder what else can go wrong then.

ryan.elt_181326 Fri, 05/23/2025 - 13:26

It basically means there will be no results published until at least Q2 2026. That's my opinion, not anything I've heard.

I hope you're wrong, but I

I hope you're wrong, but I know you aren't... good luck to all.
