Hi, David, what do you mean by 'switching to second gear'? Were you referring just to coming back from the summer holidays or has there been any major improvement/update on the part of EPSO? There's doesn't seem to be much movement on ongoing competitions from a year back. Thanks for your input on this!

a) require all candidates to resit
b) give to opportunity to resit but also the give the possibility to keep the first results
c) publish the reserve list and open it to all the institutions
d) cancel the competition
?

The update is there not an
The update is there not an update :) It seems (or so the office gossip goes) that the Office Director is not particularly fond of having permanent civil servants on staff. Given this, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of the call for applications being canceled altogether.

You have probably all seen this by now, but EPSO released this statement recently. To paraphrase @what_a_disaster above me: the news is that there is no news.

imho the fairest option would
imho the fairest option would be to draw a reserve list and open it to all institutions. EUIPO may not be interested anymore in recruting permanent civil servants, but other institutions may benefit from this competition. Money and efforts would be saved on all sides.
