AD7 Transport - Exam Impressions

Hi you all, just passing by to leave my impressions on the exam, and hopefully get some back too. I though the Abstract Reasoning questions were much simpler than the ones presented here in EU Training practice tests, which was a good thing. The Verbal, Numerical and MCQ questions were about the same level in difficulty as the practice tests, but I still ended up leaving, at the end, about 2 questions unanswered each, which was really disappointing for me. I thought I was going to manage my nerves easily, but the time just flied when the exam was for real. Also, in the written test, I did a reasonable essay, but at the end I did not have enough time to finish my conclusion. Did other people also have such a hard time with the time limit?

 Hi all,

 Hi all,

Thanks for sharing. I have exactly the same impressions: abstract reasoning  affordable, but in numeric I ran of time too.

For writting test, let's see, I miss the number of words or extension, maybe mine was too concise.

We should receive marks in one month I guess

same thoughts but time was not issue.
Numerical was same level here but scratchpad did not work made it lot harder. Abstract a lot easier. Verbal a lot easier.

McQ can't compare since the questions were totally different than here. Won't complain peeps on here I just think epso was checking McQ questions here and decided do different ones. McQ questions were very detailed and general knowledge and common sense + knowing logic of eu transport things get you maybe less than a half of the questions. Rest of them felt like lottery. Oh and in numerical they had 5 answer options here it was only 4.

I found the abstract and

I found the abstract and verbal test easier, while numerical was a nightmare because I could not use the scratchpad to take notes. And without notes, solving the math in your head is very difficult. It would be very nice to use pen and paper for this test, maybe using a blank sheet checked at the beginning...but I don’t think they will ever allow it. The same test done in-person, using physical media such as paper, pen and calculator would be much easier. It is right to ensure the regularity of tests in respect of all, but the tools provided are not at all comfortable and user-friendly.

Anyway, I hope to have the results as soon as possible, at least those of the first test. Since there is no need to correct anything, it should be quick to understand at least who has not passed the test.

Hi, I'm feeling a bit better

Hi, I'm feeling a bit better knowing that I wasn't the only one who didn't find a scratchpad for the numerical part! I thought for sure there would be one, and I prepared my tests that way. Do you think it was an error from the TestWe platform, or it was intentional? It really affects on how you prepare this part of the exam.

I was not able to use the scratchpad, but in the guide that TestWe provided, it was actually explained how to open it, so that's my fault. However, I realized that even using it would have been practically useless because it is absolutely inconvenient and not user-friendly

I forgot to add that the

I forgot to add that the calculator in the test did not have the MR and MS (memory read and memory save) keys that the calculator here in the EUTraining platform has. This was a big surprise and I had to use the scratchpad, which I was able to find, however. But the calculator in the TestWe platform was also not functioning very well, sometimes I had to click repeatedly on a number for it to be registered and other times it was registered twice (maybe a delay) and then I had to click on the backspace key to delete it... in other words, a mess which made me slow down on answering the numerical questions. The questions were not hard, but using the TestWe calculator and scratchpad were.

I could manage the scratch pad - you have to first open the pdf, highligh a word in the text of the pdf, then double click on it and only then did the scratch pad open - or something along those lines. However, it's like a small text box so I hardly used it for the NR. I couldn't copy and paste the figures on the calculator to the scratch pad, and from reading the comments on this forum, it doesn't seem possible.

Good luck everyone!
