PRESELECTION TESTS FOR A EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT COMPETITION

Hello everyone, I will be taking an online Multiple Choice preselection test for a European Parliament competition (AD) in a few days. The test will include 40 questions aiming at evaluating the capacity of the candidates to identify the EU values and the role of the European Parliament. Do you know how I can practice for this kind of exam for the specific institution?

Hello, which competition are you doing? I did that one that sounds similar and the questions were similar to verbal reasoning tests.

This wasn't clear to me either. It says in the competition announcement:

You must complete the talent evaluator which is attached to the Guide for candidates (Annex III) and include it with your online application. If you: — meet the general and specific eligibility criteria (Section A.3), — have submitted your application in accordance with the arrangements stipulated and by the closing date (Section C), — are among the best candidates in the multiple-choice test (MCQ) (the selection board will admit the 150 highest-scoring candidates; any candidates tied for a qualifying place will also be admitted),

So it seems like you only submit it if you're one of the top 150 on the MCQs? I couldn't see where to upload it when applying so I hope that's the case...

Do you know when we can expect the results of the MCQs?

I hope we can upload it later, if selected, but I think that our colleague is right...
I don't know when we can expect the results, but I hope asap! Do you think that they will communicate the results even if we are not selected? It would be nice to review the test anyway...

I'm not sure, I think they will definitely communicate successful/unsuccessful but I agree that it would be great to know our individual scores. I'm going to try to email them about the talent evaluator. Keep you posted with any response!

Hi, regarding the talent evaluator: we were supposed to uptoad the scanned document in the section ´languages´, it was mentioned in the instructions. I hope you´re given an alternative but it seems you might be excluded if you didn´t attach the talent evaluator in the section indicated. I agree that it is not too logical to have to include the talent evaluator in the ´language´ section but it´s in the instructions: I guess it´s a way to disqualifty people who don´t follow instructions very carefully, so sorry if you´re affected by this. I wish you all good luck, in any case.
