Hi, has anyone who has applied received any response yet for this competition? If yes what did you receive as an answer, are you able to schedule the exam yet, etc.?

I also applied to this one, for field 3. You can check the status of the procedure .. on my case, the Eligibility checks are on going being that there were 769 (!!!) applications for this field.

I agree. It is a lot of open positions and probably a lot of applications. It was similar competition 2 years ago. If there is someone who knows the timeline from EPSO answer to testing to first interview it would be greatly appreciated.

I think after more than 3 months without any news, it's time that EPSO decide to communicate us the reason of this delay, it should be a good practice and,  in the respect of our summer holidays (July, August, September) I hope they organise the CBT as of October. What do you think?

No news yet...  in fact I don't expect anything in July or August... maybe September to reserve a place for CBTs in October? 

There are some messages that it seems they want to change the way the organise tests, interviews, etc and agilize the process.. I don't know if they will apply to this or in the future...

indeed, so far no news, it is incredible.

 Among other things, they are also unable to adequately inform applicants with reasonable explanations. If someone writes to them, they respond in a standard way without providing useful information. Honestly, in my opinion, this kind of behavior is not very professional. They don't even have a social page with which to communicate easily with them. In respect of the candidates, they should change their strategy, at least on the communication aspects.

I applied in March and got a letter in September that I passed to the next phase "talent screener", and afterwards nothing for 3 more months... this is unbelievable... I'm not sure anymore if I want to work there... with this level of reaction...

Please share your thoughts. Did you apply to other competions where you got faster feedback? or it's the same for all of them?

Hello. I applied before for one AD position and it went quite fast. It was also multiple positions (50 I think). It was maybe 3 months between end day for application and invitation for testing. I am not sure what is the reason for the delay but when I went through some forums and viewed exam questions and things like that I am quite confident that people who work at EPSO never actually held a job somewhere in private sector and that they and their competence is most likely the main problem. Maybe I am wrong.

I think EPSO (or who is managing this competition) has 0 respect towards candidates. After almost 1 year they didn't explain the "real" reasons of this delay. This makes us understand the total absence of seriousness of these competitions in the entire process, from publication to recruitment. It's just a waste of time...

I have recieved message of "Admission to the next phase of the competition", and on EPSO portal it is saying that around 200 people have moved to next round. Now we have to wait for invitations for testing, I am not sure how long it will take for that one. Maybe someone has more info?

Does anyone know what are the disqualifying situations during the tests from other remote EPSO competitions experiences?

For example, would I be disqualified if I am doing the test in the office meeting room, where there are screens with cameras present (for video conferencing) and even if they are shut down or covered with a cloth?

Or would I be disqualified if I am doing the test in a small booth at my work, but made of glass. 

Or if I have stars in my living room that are leading to space above and below, but no doors between the spaces?

Is it possible to choose to do the tests at the test center somewhere?

Hi everyone,

I have been accepted to the Assessment Center and I just starting to prepare for the different test. This is my first time doing a competition and I'm a bit stressed with the different exams that have to be done.

I would like to propose you to make a study group to prepare this competition. Although this is a competition and only a small number of candidates will be laurate, I believe that we can work together to share information and motivation. Also, there are 5 different fields, so many of us can share information on how to prepare for the competition, but we will not be competitors.

After waiting 1 year for an answer to the application, it is absolutely incredible that we are announced to have CBT and case study tests in exactly 2 fixed days, mandatory in remote mode with no possibility of going to a test center to take the exams. With all the conditions they mention for the desk and room where you take the exam, I need to reorganise my house (cover open shelves, remove any movable furniture and electronic devices from the room, put curtains on all windows etc). Any small reason is a good excuse to be disqualified and adds an extra unnecessary risk to take proper testing. Is it just me feeling frustrated with such a low treatment? Or maybe it is done on purpose to discourage the candidates to continue?

I think it was a typical one. That was the first time I participated in EPSO exam. No open questions... i'm waiting for the results and the outcome of the Case study. Anybody else participated? It's good to hear other opinions. Cheers
