FG IV vs FG III in ICT and ICT test

Hello!

Are there any difference in terms of competency-based test for a level FG III and a level FG IV?

I am preparing the IT competency based test for a FG IV role that is about project management in the IT department. The questions are really really far way from the domain of expertise and the role. The recruiters are telling they have little knowledge about the CAST test and that EPSO might help me. But they just refered to their website, which is just not helping in my case (I checked everything on that website, it doesn't give any details for the ICT test of the CAST FG IV). Would really appreciate an answer!

Sure, I tried. I could not get a real answer but someone confirmed that CAST exams are not necessarily related to the responsibilities of the position...

Eutraining only proposes one same level of questions for all the ICT competency based questions, so I am guessing you are aware that there is only one competency-based test regardless of the FG level. Isn't it?

Hi Boris, would you mind sharing a bit more about your experience? I'm having very similar feeling with the questions I see on the practice package Vs my background, on top of the feeling of being confronted with very outdated questions, related to an old fashioned IT service desk..
- Were the questions in the real competency test following that line also?
-How did you manage to know that you were contacted for project management position?
