The signature on the application is not mandatory at this time, correct? They will only ask for your signature if you are short-listed? So I do not print and sign it. That is what I understand from the very last lines.

Hello. Today I have done the written test for Ast4 position legal assistant. In my opinion the test was quiet difficult because in 90 mins you had to read a 18 pages long sentence of the CJEU and answering 3 questions. The subject of the law case was not inherent to EPPO's activities and role. The second document of the test was an article about VAT Fraud and this was quiet simple to face with 4 questions.

It took me a lot to read all the documents, and I had time just to write very short answers, even if they were not very difficult.

How did you manage your interview? How did you find the questions and the interviewers? They asked you about your notice period, and they mentioned when they would inform you about the final results?

The interview was quiet challenging with twelve questions and 7 of them were technical about EPPO. The remaining questions were about personal skills or behavioural. The members were nice and calm. I asked them about the results and they said that the written tests will be corrected in the last two week of June and the results will be out on the first two weeks of July. What about your interview?

It was almost the same, pretty challenging, considering that it was my first interview entirely in English. I appreciated the calm and gentility of the interviewers. They told me the same thing, but I was afraid that I misunderstood - I was almost sure that we'll give another technical interview, the final one (needed to check in detail our experience and to split us to the different units). It will be difficult to wait so much time but, fortunately, I have to pass some exams in the next month that will keep me busy. I wish you good luck and maybe we'll have the chance to meet :)

Just to let you know, the reserve list is nothing more than a shortlist of candidates. It doesn't mean that you are hired neither that they will offer a job position. In the ICT case I know that there are 3 people for each job position in that list. Therefore is highly possible that 2 out of three will never be contacted for a job.

All I'm saying is don't quite your jobs yet :-)

Last year the deadline for policy officer (FGIV) was on 30th of June, they contacted the short-listed candidates on mid-september and notified all the rest of the candidates around late November. They received more than 500 applications for that vacancy and I expect it should be the same this time.

Have you applied for the legal assistant possition which deadline was set about mid February? If so, have you already been notified of your aplication assessment and have you been selected for the written examination?

I have also applied and I have not hear back from them. If you have and have been selected, then I guess that is bad news for me. 

I believe when you (hopefully, we) are selected for the exam, they should sketch out some pointers and tips on what to study and prepare.

We're out, otherwise we would know already. There cannot be a great deal of a gap between assessments, otherwise it would be unfair for those who would be reached after, leaving them with a shorter time frame to prepare their exam.

André I think you are right, if you do not receive any news within a few days you shall assume you are not selected, unfortunately. But to be sure you can still mail/phone them, perhaps wait a few days. They always reply.

For the written test I studied the Eppo Regulation and many articles and books about EPPO.

The interview was in english and they also checked at the end of the interview the other language, in my case Spanish, with a brief conversation held by an external member of the exam commission.

I've received the same answer when I asked one month ago with an email what was the situation for the AST3 contracts.
I think they have budget problems for the staff in Luxembourg even if this didn't stop them to start today the operations.
The CP also said that they have uploaded only two cases in the CMS.
We need to wait I think.
