Hello all,

I am considering applying for EU jobs, but I am still gathering information and know very little about EPSO. Apologies if my questions sound ridiculous. In particular:

1) I thought that EU civil servants had to pass an exam about the history and functioning of the EU. However, I cannot find this mentioned on the EPSO website. Am I missing something, or has this test been removed?

2) I read that the EU recruits proofreaders. Are proofreaders only stationed in Brussels and Luxembourg, or also in other cities?

Thank you for your help,

1) Yes, it has been scrapped

1) Yes, it has been scrapped years ago.

2) https://epso.europa.eu/job-opportunities/cast/3493/description_en Proofreaders (CAST Permanent) "Contracts for this/these selection procedure/s will be mainly offered for positions in Brussels and Luxembourg. A limited number of contracts may be available in other EU cities and in EU delegations worldwide."

Ok, thank you JayGyGy.
