Greetings,

I am anxiously awating the results of the most recent lawyer-linguist competition for CS, DA, ET, FI, FR, IT, LV and SV. Available here: https://eu-careers.europa.eu/en/lawyer-linguists-cs-da-et-fi-fr-it-lv-an... .

This is the first time I am applying in an EPSO competition. Now, I have understood that often the results and signing of the reserve lists may take a very long time. However, the majority of these competitions appear to be those that have several thousands of applicants. In my case, however, what interest me is the competiton for Swedish speaking lawyer-linguists. The total number of applicants were 55, for 20 places on the reserve list. Not exactly a large number... By comparison, the Italian competition had 644 applicants for 30 places.

What I was wondering is if anyone knew if each separate language usually have their own publication of the reserve list? Or, if they usually await the correction of all competitions to then publish the list simultaneously? In the latter case the publication will obviously take longer...

Thanks for the help!

Good afternoon,

all the list will be published at the same time.

So EPSO has to select all the candidates for each language.

 kind regards

Further to your question, I can inform you that, there is no rule when it comes to the publication of the final results of competitions in the same domain conducted simultaneously. But, the board may well adopt a pragmatic approach and publish the final results per language once these are available.

I trust the above has brought clarity to your question.
