EPSO Exams 2025 - Info Webcast covering the AD7 Lawyer-linguist competition for the CJEU

Interested in working as a Lawyer-Linguist for an EU institution?

EPSO will open applications for a new Lawyer-Linguists competition (AD7) on 24 April 2025. Successful candidates will be placed on a reserve list from which the Court of Justice of the European Union may recruit.

This competition is open to candidates with one of the following 8 languages as their main language. You may only apply for one:

  • Czech (CS)
  • Danish (DA)
  • Estonian (ET)
  • Finnish (FI)
  • French (FR)
  • Italian (IT)
  • Latvian (LV)
  • Swedish (SV)

To help you understand the Notice of Competition and how to prepare your application, EU Training will host a free webcast on Friday 25 April 2025 at 12:30 PM (Brussels time) - the day after applications open.

The session will be presented by András Baneth, a former EU official and lawyer-linguist, who will offer expert insights into the competition, EPSO’s selection process, and practical preparation tips.

How to join the webcast:

  1. Log in to your EU Training account. If you don’t have one yet, you can create one for free.
  2. Once logged in, click "GET" on the webcast page to reserve your spot.
  3. The webcast will then appear in your Dashboard, under the “My Webinars” section.
  4. You’ll receive further instructions by email the day before the event.

Can’t attend live? No problem. Register anyway and the recording, slides, and any other materials will be automatically added to your account afterwards.
