Time to get ready for the Computer-Based Tests AD6, AST2 & AST-SC2 candidates

Congratulations to all the AD6, AST2 and AST-SC2 candidates that successfully made it through the eligibility verification process of the competition.

From mid-March and April, you will embark on the selection testing phase of the competition. This component is made up of a series of computer-based multiple-choice questions covering the test topics of Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning.

To prepare you for these tests EU Training has organised a special
"Mastering the EPSO Computer-Based Tests" classroom training session
in Brussels on 6 September
, 2019.

Also, you might be interested in our FREE Beginner's Guide" webinars coving the topics of - Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning. And don't forget to check out our CBT practice packages.

The results of the computer-based reasoning tests are eliminatory and do not count towards the marks for the Oral Test; however, you must reach the minimum pass marks.

BUT passing is not enough. It is important to try and get the highest possible marks in these selection tests as only those candidates that do so will be invited to the Oral Test, because only a maximum of 3 times the number of successful candidates sought (per Grade and Field) will be invited to this phase. For example, in the AD6 competition (Grade), 30 successful candidates are being sought in Field 1 (European Public Administration). This means that only a maximum of 90 candidates will be invited to the Oral Test phase of the competition. With 529 applications having been received in this Field, it means some tough competition is expected so preparation and practice is vital.

So what test types and scores will you need to get...
