Assessors

EPSO assessors are members of the Selection Board (colloquially the "Jury”). They are the people who conduct all the interviews and simulation tests during the EPSO selection process. Each competition has its own Selection Board, and the members of the Selection Board are formally appointed for the entire duration of the selection procedure.

There are two types of selection board members, permanent and non-permanent:

  • Permanent members are EU officials, usually HR experts, that are seconded to EPSO for a period of minimum two years, and they are administering and participating in all the selection procedures organized by EPSO.
  • Non-permanent members are specialists in the field of the competition, that participate in specific selection procedures on a part-time basis.
