EU Training is now offering in-person EPSO training sessions and personal coaching for Internal Competitions, as well as EPSO competitions.

It's hard to believe that it's been three years since the pandemic hit. The shift to online life had to happen quick, but the shift back to in-person life has been a bit slower. Did you know that since the beginning of 2022 we started up face-to-face personal coaching in Brussels again? And for the first time since 2020, we held in-person training sessions this past February. And the big news is our EPSO coach Ticiana Tucci will be in Brussels for a few days at the beginning of April, so we thought this would be the perfect time to highlight all the in-person EPSO prep possibilities.

Personal Coaching: EPSO Computer-Based Test

Book a personal coaching session face-to-face in Brussels with Andras Korizs here.

Our Brussels-based trainer and personal coach, András Kőrízs, has been providing tailored preparation for the EPSO computer-based test since 2015, focusing on abstract, numerical and verbal reasoning skills and test methodology.

During a personal coaching session he will primarily
- review concepts and methodology required to succeed in the exams
- provide detailed preparation plans
- share useful time management and score maximisation tips
Since he went through the exam process himself, he is also able to help his students manage any stress related to the EPSO exams.

You may also choose to participate in one of his group training sessions here (online only - for now).

Personal Coaching: Career Development and Interviews

Although EPSO has eliminated the AC from the competition phase, the new process only goes into effect with competitions announced from May 2023, and it is very likely that the AC will continue just in a slightly altered format. Ongoing competitions (and there are quite a few) will still continue the selection process according to the 'old' EPSO competition model.

  • Ticiana Tucci

Book a face-to-face personal coaching session with Ticiana Tucci here. She will be in Brussels at the beginning of April, from the 4th to the 7th and will be available to meet face-to-face for AC-focused personal coaching sessions then. Secure your spot, because Ticiana's calendar is sure to fill up quickly while she's in town!

Ticiana Tucci has been running group training sessions and holding personal coaching sessions for nearly three years now here at EU Training. Before that she gained extensive knowledge in selection and recruitment as an HR consultant. She gets consistently good feedback from group sessions, as well as from her personal coaching clients.

  • Juliette Piriou

Will you be having your interview in French? Then book your face-to-face coaching session with Juliette here. She is based in Brussels, but will be available one day a week to hold a few sessions face-to-face. And being bi-lingual (fluent in English too!) she can do coaching sessions in English too.

Juliette has a superb knack for matching candidates' skills to the criteria and format of the EPSO interviews to increase their chances of getting an EU job.

Personal Coaching: MIDDLE & SENIOR MANAGEMENT

Book a face-to-face personal coaching session with Jan De Sutter.

Jan De sutter has been offering face-to-face EPSO coaching again since January 2022, but he has been providing guidance and training for EPSO candidates with EU Training for nearly 10 years now. As a trained assessor and former President of an EPSO selection board, Jan De Sutter knows exactly what assessors look for. Many candidates perform below their potential at interviews as they are in an unfamiliar environment where words, actions and body language matter more than they would initially assume. Improving competencies takes time and self-practice, but with expert guidance you can build your self-confidence and increase your chances of success.

TRAINING SESSIONS: COM Internal Competition Oral Test

These half-day training sessions focus on and simulate the Oral Test exam of the European Commission’s Internal Competitions, and will cover both components: the interview and the oral presentation.  And, all this happens in Brussels with Jan De Sutter at the Ambiorix Center.
