New field-related test type
At the beginning of this week, on 14 October, EPSO announced a new type of test for the upcoming Scientific Researchers competition, applications are scheduled to open on 5 November 2024. It is called the Field-Related Short Text Questionnaire (FRSTQ). Here are the key details:
- Purpose: The FRSTQ will assess a candidate’s specific expertise in their field by requiring concise, experience-based answers.
- Format:
- Candidates will be given 10 questions.
- Each response is limited to 500 characters.
- The total duration of the test is 60 minutes.
- Use: Initially, this test will only be used for this Scientific Researchers competition, but its introduction in future competitions remains a possibility.
